QLED and The Frame

Hi,

the One Connect Box (THE FRAME 2021) is great, but it seems to have poor WIFI reception in my case. If my internet router isn't in the same room, I am having bad connections all the time.

Is there any way to attach a WIFI antenna to the One Connect Box? And if so: where would I attach it? USB? Satellite+? Air/Cable? HDMI?

Hi there @softwarea and welcome to the community! There are 3 solutions that I've tried with my TV that would help with this issue.  First would be logging into your network and making it a priority device on the network.  This will help a lot if your signal is dropping.  Second would be to purchase a wi-fi extender.  It will give you a far better signal because you would have the extender in the room in one of the outlet.  The method that I found worked best for poor connection was to purchase and set up an EOP (Ethernet over power) in the home and plug it into the Ethernet port on the One Connect Box.  As long as it's plugged in, your signal will be immaculate.  That's what I'm using currently on my TV since my router is across my house.

Happy TV watching!

Hey, thank you for your detailed explanations.

I'm sorry, but I'm not so interested in "workarounds" at all. In fact, a wifi extender is currently the only way that I can use the TV. But it's kind of an "ugly" solution because the wifi extender requires power and the device is also not nice to look at.

I had therefore very deliberately ask for an "antenna only" solution. Is there such a thing, according to your information? It would be quite great if I could connect an antenna directly to the One Connect box - without any other bells and whistles. All other devices in my room have great wifi reception (computer, printer, cell phone) - just not The Frame 😞

Thank you very much for your help!
