QLED and The Frame

Hi,

I just installed my new QLED Q70T which is connected to my Integra reciever. The TV audio is connected to the reciever using an opticla cable. However, when I launch Netflix or Plex - I can't hear the audio through my reciever. I manually choose to use optical as the optical output - but nothing. Strangely, if I launch Youtube app from the TV - sound works perfecrtly, This means that the setup of my system is correct, but there is something funky with Netflix and Plex - I have no idea how to solve this problem - would apprecuiate any assistance.

Thanks!

Itay

Problem solved - apparently the solution was in my reciever... the first thing I did was to change the HDMI port - so now it is connected via HDMI1 rather than 3 that has the smart thing..

The next thing I did was to disable the HDMI-CEC on my reciever - because each time I switch to optical output it would enter the reciever into mute mode.

So now - everything works perfectly -

It is a bit annoying that you must manually change the sound output from TV to optical (in my old Samsung TV it was done automatically) - but that's a small price to pay...

Try going into the Sound Expert Settings and set the Audio Format (something like that) to PCM.
