Q80R Remote Buttons Register Twice

Every time I press a button on my remote the buttons register twice.  Meaning if I'm on the home screen and press the left button to go to an icon it'll move to the left twice and go past the icon I was trying to select.  This is incredibly annoying.

Is there any way to fix this?

I have the exact same problem with mine and I was asked to send all the informations to the customer service for a replacement... which I did since nov 16th and still no answer... 😕
