I am having issues where motion is showing multiple objects. For example if a character moves their arm quickly I will see 3 or 4 of the persons arm as it moves. 

 the tv is on its default settings. Is there a way to reduce or eliminate these issues?

I saw the same thing yesterday when I setup my TV and looking through Samsung, i found out that you have to disable Picture Clarity in Setting > Picture > Expert as stated here
