QLED and The Frame

I recently purchased a Samsung The Frame 42" UHD TV. On black and very dark backgrounds (credits, dark scenes, etc.) there is significant "bleeding" backlight of white circles and splotches into the image. It's distracting, and does not seem to be getting any better, and is perhaps getting worse. What can be done to address this issue? It seriously affects the viewing experience and isn't something I'd expect from a new high end television. Thank you, David Cavallo

Maybe you've got a faulty TV? Can you return and exchange it perhaps?

Hello, Mr.Callavo If this is occurring on all sources and during the picture test this will require service you have a couple of options based on your warranty.

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up.
- If you're within the one-year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have a service set up
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Or reach out directly to Samsung Support at 1-800-726-7864.

I was unable to reply privately due to an authentication problem, but am conducting tests to see if the problem occurs on all sources. If it does, I will reply to this thread for a service request. My TV was purchased directly from Samsung in September, 2022 and is still under warranty. Thank you.
