I've had my 2022 75in Frame up and running for the last couple of weeks and I've been struggling with the YouTube TV app.  The app will install on the TV and I can log into my account and watch my shows, but it does not get listed on the Smarthub menu.  So, if I want to watch YouTube TV (after watching something else) I need to go into the app menu, search for YouTube TV, see that it is installed, and then launch it - pretty much a pain.

I have checked for updates on the TV, and it is completely up to date.  I have held down the power button on the remote for 12 seconds to turn it off and clear the cache but reinstalling the app still doesn't put the app in the Smarthub menu.

Am I doing something wrong?  Is this by design, so I am forced to use Samsung TV?   Any help would truly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dunc

There are no options in the YouTube TV menu to add it to the Smarthub.  There also do not appear to be any Smarthub menu items to allow adding new apps.  So, I assume this is Samsung's way of forcing everyone to use Samsung TV.

I am having same problem with "YOUTUBE TV" app.  I can place the app icon into the main hub and have my voice command bring up the 'YOUTUBE TV" home page (also my remote hand held.  I then use my remote to channel surf, but voice will not work.

My problem is 2022 frame TV will not list "YOUTUBE TV" in it's Most Recent viewed. Hub only list my sound bar icon.  The voice command will not work once inside the "YouTube TV" app.  It continues to ask for my Service Provider when I try to use the voice command.  However, I can simply use the remote to adjust the channels.

Voice command works in all other apps ok.

My 2022 QLED was working with Youtube TV until the latest firmware update...now I can make it work with the remote, but when I try voice control, it asks me to "set up the service provider first". YouTube TV is my only provider...I gave up U-verse to save a few bucks.

To top it off, while sound works with Alexa and beeps and such, I'm not getting any sound from any programming source. I have a feeling the new firmware is the cause of both problems. Anyone else having this cluster?
