Fake looking picture on q6fn

My picture on q6fn looks fake, like people are clearly in front of a green screen...even if they are not. Is this changeable in settings, or a result of such a good TV with lower grade signals, or what? It's the same on multiple input methods including dish, hulu, DVD and bluray.

Do I need to return and get a lower grade tv or maybe a Sony, or can adjustments be made?

Try turning off the motion enhancer. I believe you are seeing the soap opera effect.

That worked. Bit does that slow the refresh rate and thereby make the 120 hz TV only a 60 hz?

Don’t believe so. Chances are you are not receiving a 120hz picture from your source anyway. I think only game consoles can do that right now, maybe a blue ray. Definitely not a cable box or similar.
