Hello, All,

My Bose 500 Soundbar is connected to my Q60T via HDMI.  Everything is working well except I do not see volume numbers when I push the volume button.  For example, when I push volume up, all I see is a "+" sign.  Similarly, when I push volume down I see a "-" sign.  I would like to see actual numbers so I know what the current volume level is.

Any thoughts?

This is normal operation, since all manufacturer's use their own numbers to describe volume levels.

Just to be clear, you are saying that I cannot see volume numbers if I am using my soundbar connected via Anynet CEC?

That is correct. Your TV volume numbers are different than that of your soundbar.

Thanks.   Very odd.  I could see the volume number with my old Samsung tv, which was purchased in 2013.  Same setup (soundbar connected via Anynet).

I understand, it is meant to streamline the experience instead of having two volumes to keep track of. You are welcome.
