I just started having the same problem on my Samsung UN82NU8000 Flat 82" 4K UHD 8 Series Smart LED TV (2018).
i have only had it for 3 months and now have a white horizontal across the bottom of the screen. Should have stuck with the Vizios but heard Samsung was supposed to be the best. What a waste of 3k on this tv.
