I'm having lots of issues with sound drop outs on my TV and my soundbar while using eARC. Turning it off on the TV fixes all the issues. I did not have these problems before the firmware update. What did you do and when will it be fixed? The people crying for eARC have no idea the problems that come with it.
I'm reading of eARC not working right on all brands. It's buggy. I'm using ARC with my Blu-Ray player plugged into the soundbar, so I still get the best sound possible while watching discs. My other devices only do 5.1 surround, so I'm good for now. Unless the bugs get worked out, people will have to use receivers or soundbars instead of the ports on the TVs.
