New Q60T, right side flashes vertical bar top to bottom intermittently (PNG capture included).

New Q60T purchased from Samsung site.

 

Seen on both cable and when streaming. It is intermiitent, but enough that it is causing concern for a brand new TV.

 

Took a video and extracted a frame where it can be clearly seen (PNG file). Unit is only about a month old.

I'm sorry to hear that, if this is occurring on all sources and the picture test then this will require service. You have a couple of options based on your warranty. 

- If your unit was recently purchased, you can check with your retailer on their return/exchange processes.
- If you have an extended warranty you can reach out to them to have service set up. 
- If you're within the one year warranty, you can Private message me or one of our moderators with your full model and serial number to have service setup
- If you're OUT of warranty, you can use this link below to find a service center in your area.

Hi!

 

Here is the information concerning the Q60T

 

55" Class Q60T QLED 4K UHD HDR Smart TV (2020)

MODEL NUMBER: QN55Q60TAFXZA  SERIAL NUMBER: <hidden>

(copy and pasted from Samsung Support site where my products are registered)

 

It was purchased via the Samsung Website on August 28th. At first we thought it might be a cable issue. This is before we set up streaming. After setting up streaming we saw the issue there also.

 

As mentioned, the issue is intermittent, but is quite apparent when it is happenning. Flashes quickly on the screen.

 

I attached the PNG that was in the thread.

 

On the Samsung support site (where all my products are registered, under <hidden>) I just uploaded the confimation email we received with the purchase information for warranty purposes. Unit was purchased under email <hidden> (my wife). She did the actual purchase. I can supply the email if needed.
