A notification about ambient mode headlines service going away in september is displayed at the top right corner of the screen (covering about 20% of the screen). It appears randomly and remains for hours at a time. There is an "OK" button on the notification but it does not react to the remote.
In fact nothing reacts to the remote's button (can't switch sources etc.)
It is very annoying.
Has anyone else experinced this and/or has a fix.

This is NOT a solution. The support people were zero help.

They want to Remote Into your TV. Do you trust them to have full acess to your home network? I don't.

Yeah, this is rather annoying. I am having the same issue. Their solution was "Unplugging it, letting it sit for 30 seconds and plugging it back in." This helps in the sense that after it pops up and sits there for 10 minutes eventually it goes away.

Dont call support. It is a waste of time. They dont know about this problem. I tried and spent an hour with no solution. After trying everything and nothing worked I decided to reset Smart Hub and do a factory reset. It worked! At least for now there have been no pop ups thus freezing my ability to use remote. While it is a hassle to relog in to all apps it was worth it.

I just talked to Tech Support. They are aware of this problem, but haven't found a solution yet. Ugghh!! I asked for a rebate after paying top dollar for a top tier TV, and then THIS....
