My tv is brandnew. When i am connected to my xbox one x. Every 4-6 of use i will see the screen flash intermittently and back to normal. It happpens sooooo fast.      I have tried two different xbox one x units. Both outputing at 4k 60z. 10bit.   I have tried two different brandnew hdmi cables designed specifically for the one x.  I have tried different ports on the one connect.

What do you guys think this is?   Audio does not get interrupted.

I plan on testing to see if the powerstrip/surge protector i am using is bad. I ordered a very expensive surge protector with filter to reduce noise.      I am planning on turning off uhd hdr.   I plan on testing the xbox at 1080p and then testing my old xbox one .   This will probably all take a week at least cause its very hard to replicate the flash

Oh wow! That is a really bad problem. I’ve never experienced anything as badly as that. That sucks. Do you think it’s a tv or Xbox issue?

When i had my regular xbox one plugged in, i dont seem to remember to see these issues.  And yes my flash is exactly like the above described. Lights up the whole room for a split second, audio still works.  I noticed it happen whether hdr is on or whether game is on or off.     This video describes my problem exactly,  this is not my video and nor is it th same tv. https://youtu.be/TWQ_OuU6Xv8 It might be a compatibility issue with 4k devices and the tv.

oh **bleep**! Just watched the video. That's what your flashes are like? Mine are not as bad as that. Usually just a portion of the screen and a lot more subtle. That's horrible. Yeah that's a compatibility issue. Probably related to the blackouts that PS4 has.

So i am now confident i have fixed my issue. The solution i beleive is to turn off “allow 24hz” and “allow 50hz”. Under the display settings on the xbox one x. I will report back if that doesnt fix it. But its been two straight days where i havent seen the flash anymore since i switched those off on my xbox one x.

This is def a software issue not hardware.

Interesting! Don’t you need those settings, atleast one of them for 4k HDR?

I have the flashing problem on my Q7f. I STRONGLY Believe its the TV not an XBOX. Have the same problem with my cable providers DVR and also on my Nvidia shield box. I don't own and xbox.

Anybody found a fix yet?

So had the tv running for like 8 hours no flashes after samsung replaced my one connect box.   I will update in 3 days if the problem comes back. But i truly think the problem has been solved
