My tv is brandnew. When i am connected to my xbox one x. Every 4-6 of use i will see the screen flash intermittently and back to normal. It happpens sooooo fast. I have tried two different xbox one x units. Both outputing at 4k 60z. 10bit. I have tried two different brandnew hdmi cables designed specifically for the one x. I have tried different ports on the one connect.
What do you guys think this is? Audio does not get interrupted.
I plan on testing to see if the powerstrip/surge protector i am using is bad. I ordered a very expensive surge protector with filter to reduce noise. I am planning on turning off uhd hdr. I plan on testing the xbox at 1080p and then testing my old xbox one . This will probably all take a week at least cause its very hard to replicate the flash
Thatβs really weird because replacing the box didnβt solve the issue for me. Neither did having my TV serviced or hdmi cables swapped out. There is someone else on the forums that is having the same issue even after replacing the one connect box. I think itβs a firmware issue on my end
Hi, thanks for following up. Iβm having the same problem and also get loud short βboomβ sounds from my sound bar β similar to the white flashes but in sound (like when you unplug an electric guitar and oh get the βwhompβ pulse).
Did you go through Samsung support, or through your retailer, to get the Connect box replaced?
Same here with QN55Q7FAMFXZA sound will make about 5 pop sounds with Vizio sound bar and also see an occasional white flash with cable TV (TiVo Bolt ) and PS3. firmware updated with 1210.8.
The people that solved this issue with a new one connect box doesnβt have the same issue we do. Itβs obviously something else. NOTHING resolves the issue Iβve been having. Sometimes itβs not just a white flash. It can be different colors. Sometimes they are very subtle. Other times super obvious. Itβs so strange.
Personally I had my One Connect main board replaced (which is essentially 75% of the One Connect) and the problem is still there. I would ask for a whole new One Connect box, but at this point I'm getting the feeling nothing will change...
The guy that had his new one connect solve the problem wasnβt experiencing the same thing we are. This is a software bug in the TVs firmware. I spoke to another guy on Reddit and he said he had this bug with 4 different Samsung models. He bought a Sony X900 (I think itβs called) and the problem immediately went away with his Xbox. Come On Samsung. Stop asking me to get my tv serviced. This is a software bug! Fix this already! $1000 on this piece of junk down the tubes.
I had a service tech out about 4 weeks ago. Told him about the white flash and did absolutely nothing about it. Just ran some Test in the service menu. I also believe it's a firmware issue.
I had my main board replaced as well. The flashes actually stopped for like 3 weeks after that then started up again. Maybe when performing the factory reset after the new hardware, it temporarily solved the problem. Still didnβt permintely fix it.

you are describing the same issue im having. you mentioned it seems to happen more often when playing 4k blu rays and that the flash is sometimes different colors. same here, and ive also replace my one connect box with no success. did you ever figure out what is causing the issue and or how to resolve it?
