Samsung Q90T Local Dimming Is Reduced In Game Mode? Has This Problem Been Fixed?

I was thinking about buying a Samsung Q90T but after finding out that the local dimming feature is significantly reduced when in game mode then I don't wanna buy it. The problem has not been fixed according to a recent reply on here.

Is Samsung going to fix it? I don't know why local dimming would be reduced when in game mode, Local dimming should not add input lag.
