I currently own 2 Samsung QLED models and can verify on both sets going to different AV receivers that enabling "Game Mode" turns off any Bitstream through HDMI.
It forces 2 channel PCM instead of Dolby or DTS.
I don't understand why they would do this as it nerfs everything new console hardware or PC's can utilize?
AV companies suggest connecting the new consoles directly for VRR to work correctly and use ARC/EARC for the audio... but when you disable BITSTREAM it kills the experience.
