About updating to normal release from beta.

Hello everyone,

I would like to know that if we get the stable release of One UI 4 (Android 12) for S21 Ultra and at the same time we are having the Beta installed in our phone. So while updating to the latest stable version, do we lose our personal data or we will have it and get upgraded to the stable one?

You just update to the stable release when it's available, nothing more. That simple. No reinstalling anything

You will not have the non-beta and beta release on your phone at the same time. When the final OneUI 4 version is available, it will replace the beta version.

Hello @tahwermoin ,

Update to official software would be same process as beta software updates and would be over the air.  Ideally no data loss should happen but we do recommend making a backup just in case.
