Anyone else notice since the beta 5 update battery is draining faster? It seemed like the beta 4 helped but now with the beta 5 not good again... on S26U...

i did initially see a serious decline in battery life. losing roughly 30% in just 2hrs is too much. At first i thought it was because i was using my ps5 headset and the USB dongle was eating the battery. turned out it was another app drinking it all. put that app to deep sleep because F U et viola. battery issue solved.

Can't remember. it was an old app that worked just fine on my last phone. I deleted that shortly after though

My phone battery drains very quickly as well. And I don't do any gaming and usually don't have any apps open except for messages

No, it's been the same since beta one, and it's bad. It never got fixed.

Beta 4 battery life got better... beta 5 it's shot again

This is probably not relevant to why this could be related to betas, but I found any Meta App (especially WhatsApp) to be draining battery in the background. When all other apps don't exceed 1 minute in CPU wakelock time (even Google Play services rarely exceeds 10 minutes), WhatsApp impressively pulls ahead at 30 minutes plus.

Based on my experience with android and especially Samsung, any relatively subpar performance in battery is almost always due to bad background idle drain.

I actually haven't noticed much difference in the betas and my battery life seems fine.
