Buds4 Pro mic not working

I posted this in the main forum, but then remembered that I've only had my buds since I joined the beta, so I'm posting here.

When I send voice messages it is using my phones mic instead of my buds' mic.

This happens in multiple apps.

I've tried:

Re-pairing them.

Checking that Whatsapp has access to my microphone.

checking that microphone access is on.

changing the settings in the voice recorder app to use Bluetooth mic when available.

making sure the buds had audio and calls on.

changing a developer setting "Turn off A2DP hardware offload".

Any suggestions?

This has been the case since I got my buds, so I've restarted my phone since it started.

To help the team accurately identify the cause of this issue, we kindly ask that you submit an Error Report immediately after reproducing the problem so that the relevant system logs can be captured.

1. Open Samsung Members → One UI Beta Program → Beta Feedback.
2. Select Error reports and attach any relevant screenshots or screen recordings (if available).
3. Make sure “Send system log data” is enabled before submitting.

Important: For accurate log collection, please submit the report within 3 minutes of reproducing the issue and do not kill the task of the Samsung Members app until you receive notification that the error has been sent (about 5 minutes)

Your report will greatly assist the team in analyzing and improving the Beta experience.
