Call Recording

I noticed that on some galaxy devices call recording was a feature and I was wondering if it was coming to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra on android 12 for US at some point?

I don't think so, but may be wrong since some states / countries have strict laws concerning one party knowledge of being recorded (hope this is the correct term) without knowledge or consent. Legal stuff!

I'm a lawyer and I can tell you that it won't come to the US due to laws that safeguard the privacy of callers man.

But there are apps that do call recording in the US right now.
How are they able to do it ,?

They do it illegally. And most of them are probably not from the US

They all give you the warning about the law.
Sammy could do the same and allow the user to make a choice

Unfortunately, we cannot enable this feature in US market due to Legal restrictions.

It's illegal in US. I've seen ppl in XDA forums talk about installing it but idk if that's a smart idea in the US
