Can I get Official OneUI8 after leaving the beta program

Hi,

I have recently left from the One UI beta program, but my mobile software version is still beta. Can I get official OneUI8 update without reset of my mobile (s23 base model) ?

You'd need to reset. I'm hearing the official build started rolling out today, but I haven't seen it yet. I'd wait a few days to see if you'd get the official one ui 8 build so that way you don't have to reset

You'll get the update, but by leaving, that means you'll have to use Smart Switch on your PC to revert to the One UI 7 build, which will put you in the same release schedule as all the non-beta testers.

If you stay in the beta, you'll get the update days ahead of the release schedule (not always), and that'll save you the trouble of having to do a factory reset.

So if you're on the beta and want to go back to official you'd have to Reset. But if you can stick with the beta for a few more days we should get the official 8

If you have left beta in the middle of the beta phase, your next action item is to wait until the official version is released.

Once released, you can simply update your phone from beta version to official version.

If this is the new process, the FAQs need to be updated. Current direction is to roll back to the previous OS via Smart Switch, resulting in a factory reset and loss of data.

I haven't received the OneUI8 stable update yet though all s23 devices got the OneUI8 stable update (India). Is it because of leaving the beta program in the middle of beta phase. ?

I 'm still on Beta version. 😞
