Okay I have a question that's frustrated me and it looks like from I can see this has been going on since UI 7 but why do I set a picture for somebody as a contact and when that person calls me that picture shows up as them calling until I answer the phone and then it blurs the picture. Especially speakerphone for example or a headset in my ear If I answer the phone once I answer the call I still want to be able to see the contact picture I set up for that caller.

No I agree it works as intended, I just wish there was an option to change it I know I think back in UI 6 it wasn't like that and then seven started to blur and I never really paid attention till recently and I just wish there was a way to choose one or the other
If you downloaded the Google contacts app, they have a new feature where you can set the contact picture to whatever you like. I believe that one does not blur out, if that is something you would like to try! ๐
So I have re-enabled my Google dialer and Google contacts and set them as default and it's a little different so I'm still getting used to it but I do think I like it better than the Samsung one and you're right it does solve the contact issue blur problem
