You're probably on another carrier other than T-Mobile. I'm on Verizon, and I didn't get anything.

I don't understand why you can join the Beta but can't download the software. I recall that when One UI 6 Watch Beta was released in 2024, it would indicate that your model wasn't supported if you had a Verizon model, but this time, it doesn't.

I think Beta Moderator should allow test trials for select users on Verizon to see how it performs on a network other than T-Mobile.

Yeah, i have AT&T. That doesn't make much sense to me, though. I dont imagine much, if anything is different with the software just bc of which provider I have.

Hello all,
Thank you for your participation in beta program.

One UI 8 Beta for Watch LTE series with T-Mobile carrier is currently eligible for software update.

Being said, we apologize for the inconvenience for those who were able to join Beta (Because the Watch model is eligible) yet could not receive the software update (due to ineligible network conditions).

We have shared your feedback to the relevant team for further improvement in beta participating process.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team

I have an LTE Watch 6 Classic, have T-Mobile as my carrier (no data plan on the watch) and was able to join the beta but not install the beta.

Does one need to have an active data plan on the watch, even if T-Mobile is my carrier for the phones?

I have an LTE capable watch, just don't have a data plan on it (never saw the need)
