Not sure if Beta 4 caused Google Messages Read Receipts to crash, but all I'm getting is unread using RCS. Yes, both ends have this feature enabled and everything has been cleared and reset. Is anyone else having this issue or is it on GM side?

Experiencing this as well. I imagine it's on Google's end, as read receipts were working fine yesterday.

Mines are not turning white on some texts. The white double check marks on the bottom right.

I have this same issue, but it's strange because it's only happening between me and my wife's phone and she's on an S23 ultra. We both get ready receipts working but just not each other. On both phones I cleared cache, reinstalled the messages apps, restarted phone, updated her S23 to the latest firmware, checked on mine and found up to date. Turned read receipts off and back on. Disconnected RCS on both phones and then re-enabled it. Nothing has worked. I'm hoping the next beta or the stable will resolve it.

I believe it's been fixed with google messages (beta) update that was pushed out this evening.

I'm getting this but it changes day by day. Yesterday read receipts weren't working. Today they are. It's an issue most likely on Google's end
