Before the beta update when I connected to my cars Bluetooth it would start playing music and launch Google assistant drive mode. Now, after installing the beta, it doesn't do anything. I have to go into YouTube music and hit play and then go to maps or say "hey Google, let's drive". Small complaint but it's not as convenient.
Please navigate to google maps app -> user login -> Settings -> Navigation Settings -> Google Assistant settings and make sure "When navigating in Google maps" is checked and "When connected to Car's Bluetooth" has Launch driving mode selected.
