Major Issue with WiFi Criss Alerts

I'm on One UI Version 8.5 and noticed that if I am connected to wifi that it completely turns off the use of my cellular connection.  The issue is that the Crisis Alerts feature only uses your cellular network to notify you of emergency alerts, but when I am on WiFi it shows that "Crisis Alerts isn't available: you're offline".

This is a pretty major issue and I recently missed a tornado warning that touched down a few miles from my house without getting any warning.

Anyone else seeing the same issue?

This is not just exclusive to the beta,it's in the stable version too.im on one UI 8 and it's showing the same thing as OP. This needs fixing.

I'm not even in the beta program and have this issue on v8. Same scenario...tornado early this morning and got zero alerts

Mine says offline whether I'm on Wi-Fi or cellular. It says go to settings but everything is turned on there.
