New icon after beta 6

I dont remember seeing this green location icon before beta 6. It's only on the pull down notification panel. It's interactive if you tap it and shows what apps are using location services. Anyway to remove it without turning off location services all together? Seems like the only time its ever been on before is when Google maps is open and running.

Yeah, it is new and there all the time now. Even when turning off GPS. Seems like it should not be there all the time.

That's what I'm thinking also. It will only disappear after about 5 seconds after turning off location
