I was using this feature regularly. I use Samsung Health as my bike computer. Unfortunately Health doesn't support bicycle radar like the Garmin Varia. So I used the Varia app in popup mode with transparency over the Health bike activity so I could see the ride stats and still have the safety factor of seeing the radar information.
With this update my bike setup which was working adequately on One UI 6 has been taken away with no direct alternative.
