I am trying to get more organized with my email and I can't figure out how to set auto sorting rules for the emails I receive. Is there a way to sort emails in the app similar to the web equivalents?
The native email app is nothing but an email client. It only does what it's told to do by your email service host. In my case, I recently added an alias to my outlook.com email. I had to do this on the web. Then, I had to set a rule in the settings to direct incoming emails for that alias into that folder. Only then did the Samsung app recognize the new alias and, of course, emails addressed to that alias went into the appropriate folder.
Currently, there are no options to set "rules" for incoming emails in the Email app. We encourage you to submit a suggestion to include such a feature in the app.
