I use Samsung TTS engine and once I upgraded to One UI 7.0 Beta 1 - I switched it to Google TTS engine to check if there were new voice data, similar to Gemini voices. Unfortunately, no new voices were added and no AI assisted voices were added.

I switched the TTS engine back to Samsung engine. However, now with Moon+ Reader Pro, it uses Google TTS than the Samsung TTS engine. Though when I look at setting it is set to Samsung TTS.

It could be a one-off, but now all TTS is going through Google TTS Engine.

Tested "read aloud" within Samsung Internet browser, it uses google read-aloung aka google TTS engine.

Confirmed bug with Samsung TTS engine

Installed TTS engine cereproc - since it handles voices within it's app. It works, I was able to get the voices I had installed with Cereproc. But no dice on using Samsung TTS voices.

Only Google voices work.
