Watch battery status in phone widget

I have a watch 6 classic. I am using the one ui8 beta. It's anyone having an issue with the watch battery status not showing in the widget on the phone? I've restarted the phone and watch a well as remove and re added the widget... still not working. Help!

I updated my wearables to the beta version and that issue went away

Ah, I didnt put it together, but that must be what fixed it on mine as well. Great observation!
