Agreed, when it comes to non official releases we lose usage of Google wallet. This has been true for several generations of Samsung phones and the beta program
The beta software hasn't been though the Google certification process. That's why it won't work with Google Wallet. If they put every beta update through certification, you'd never get new beta releases. It's just one of the things you have to accept when using Beta software.
