Youtube App Video Quality Settings Broken

Since updating to one ui 8 on zfold 6. The youtube app doesnt let me change quality settings anymore. The video still plays in like 360p but the quality setting says its higher since i have "higher picture quality" set in the youtube app setting. Its missing / greyed out on every video i open. Ive reinstalled the app and updated to the latest version still nothing. Rebooted phone, still broken. I can watch 4k on my laptop so it's definitely the phone. Anyone else have this issue?

May very well be a bug, but letting them know it's not happening to everyone let's them know it's not just broken code.
