I can't say for certain but I was just messing with my phone today and I was in an option where I could back up the secure folder with the cloud but it wanted to delete the already existing backup file for the secure folder as return, the question you ask is slightly different than what my screenshot shows. But does give you the hope that you can back it up somewhere, maybe even the cloud I can't say for certain
