I've previously asked about how to block numbers not in my contacts from calling me, but now they are spamming me with messages. Can I block them from messaging me? It's extreamly obnoxious

The Samsung messages stock app will alow you to select the text, then select the 3 dots in top right and then block the number or contact. However, if it is coming from an email, you cannot block it. I had to call AT&T and tell them about it and they basically took me off a list of receiving those types of texts.

you could switch to google messages, then you can block individual email contacts. if it is a phone number all you need to do is open the phone app, select the 3 dots them select settings and block numbers.
