MST was the best feature of Samsung Pay. After reading the statement, I think that even though large chains have "easy" to upgrade their equipment, the same can't be said for small business. The US has been sort of slow adapting to NFC, and with MST around, I didn't have to worry about that, now I do. Also, I have a Note 10 which has MST, but I want to upgrade when the Note 21 is released. I value this feature more than 100x zoom, and it might hold me from upgrading. I know I'm not the majority, but Samsung Pay taking away the reward system (which needed an upgrade), without a feature like MST, Samsung Pay just doesn't offer any value to me. I'll go with Google Pay.
