Bring back the new tab button to navigation bar of samsung internet browser. I don't want to long press the tab manager button just to open a new tab. You removed one of the few good customizable features that kept me in your browser for absolutely no reason. If you don't bring it back i might just switch to a different app.

Hi there, the Members community is a user-to-user tech support forum. You can only reach peer users by posting here.

To reach someone at Samsung and make feature requests, you will need to use the Members app on a Galaxy device, visit the support tab, and navigate to "send feedback."

Really? Long pressing an existing button is a deal breaker?

Yes. I use mobile browser a lot and open dozens of tabs every day. It is crucial for me to optimize the process because long press takes about a second. Again, there is no sense in removing a custom feature some people need.

You may find Firefox more to your liking. You can add a "new tab" toolbar shortcut, and the tab button long-press action brings up tab options (close, new, new private), which makes more intuitive sense to me.

You can also modify the system-wide long-press delay under settings > accessibility > interaction and dexterity > touch & hold delay. I think 300 milliseconds is much more tolerable than the default 500.1776439164904.jpg

Long press is not exactly long imo, and it opens a new tab without going through any other menus etc. How is this a real life issue?
