Hi there everyone. I just switched to a Galaxy A11 after having used a Galaxy J7 for several years. I finished transferring all of my data and apps to the A11, but noticed I was missing over 50 notes on Samsung Notes. My old phone, the J7, has the latest version (4.2.01.53) of Samsung Notes, but strangely, my *new* phone has an older version (3.7.09.22) of it. This is a problem because the notes that I'm missing are important, and they were created in the latest version. So I attempted to update the app manually by going to its download page in the Google Play Store. However, I'm seeing the following message:
"This app isn't compatible with your device anymore. Contact the developers for more info."
Naturally I'm confused, considering the A11 is a 2020 model.
Things I've tried so far:
- Updating Android
- Restarting my phone
If anyone can help me, I'd be very appreciative! :)
Edit: I just discovered that Google Chrome won't update either, even though it wants me to. For this one, the download simply won't start. I'm on a stable wi-fi connection, so I'm not sure what's going on.
