Hello can someone help me... I open up my emails and I don't see any images? Usually it has a button on the right hand side that says show images but lately it doesn't have it... please advise?
Try: Open email, click 3 lines at top left, click gear at upper right, click on email account you want pictures for, scroll down and turn on show images.
Yes, this works, but not a great option. Oftentimes we know what images are in an email & don't want them open. I liked having the option. Now we don't - it's either on or off. Off means you have to tap on images one at a time which opens them in a new page with no warning as to what you're opening (Pinterest emails are a good example).
I had the same issue so I tried Uninstaller and re installing. Now it won't let me get back in using my password. It says either the info is wrong or I have to contact my server.
The suggested method to automatically show all images is a security vulerability.
The feature to SELECTIVELY show images on an email-by-email basis was removed in the July 2022 update. I have been asking them to bring it back.
Maybe if enough people send an email to the developers (b2b.sec@samsung.com), complaining about the compromised security and usability, the old method will be restored.
They DO seem to closely monitor that inbox. I have gotten some progress/promise from them already.
The new samsung update happend and now I only see words on my email no pictures? I tried all the steps that I googled but nothing. How do you fix this issue.
Go to settings/ apps - open the email app and tap 3 dots at top right. Uninstall update and the show images button will come back. My phone reinstall's the update so I have to do this a couple times a day. Samsung told me they are working on the issue for new update.
