Hey Samsung,

Can you tell me why you don't allow for text saved to the keyboard's clipboard to be uploaded an saved to your cloud? Five years ago, you decided to partner with Micorosoft and virtually dismantle your own cloud storage service. The only thing it seems to be mainly used for anymore is to backup Notes. If there's a way to transfer something copied from a Samsung tablet to a Samsung smartphone, there's no reason the entirity of the clipboard can't be shared between the 2 devices.
I hate to say it as much as I hate to see it, but Samsung is becoming like Google. Allowing services they've offered for years to simply end for seemingly no reason. At least not one that's transparently shared. Samsung doesn't innovate any longer. We need DJ Koh back.

The clipboard is such a basic but crucial feature in day-to-day use, and it makes sense to expect it to work seamlessly across devices, especially within an ecosystem like Samsung’s. The fact that you can't easily share clipboard content between devices, even though other services (like Samsung Notes or Samsung Flow) make it possible to sync other types of content, does feel like a missed opportunity. You’re right: if your clipboard content can be transferred or synced in some form, there's no reason it can't be stored in the cloud for easy access across multiple devices, especially given the strides in cloud syncing that Samsung made years ago.

Unfortunately, it seems like Samsung's decision to limit clipboard syncing (and some of the capabilities of Samsung Cloud) is tied to a larger shift in their approach to cloud services. With the partnership with Microsoft and the focus on services like OneDrive, Samsung has consolidated a lot of its cloud storage into external services, which may be why they're more focused on backing up things like Notes and photos rather than user-generated content from other sources (like clipboard data). There could be a combination of reasons—security concerns, data privacy, or just changes in strategy—why they don’t offer a broader, more integrated clipboard sync across their devices.

If they have their own security platform with government level strength, there should be no concern for "security" when it comes to simply syncing the clip board. Its increasingly disappointing the more you look into the seemingly logical features that Samsung, the "leader" in innovation, lacks as they focus on partitioning their own features/capabilites to be the become the responsibility of their partners, as they continue to focus on "AI." Features that hardly no one asked for. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø
