DeX for windows stopped working after update to 1.0.2.23

Hi,

I installed the proposed Samsung DeX update. The install was successful. I now have version 1.0.2.23.

I plugged my phone into the computer using the samsung USB charging cable, as usual, but DeX windows doesn't launch.

i rebooted both the computer and the note 10, connected, disconnected the USB cable, it just won't recogize the phone anymore. A hour before I applied the update, DeX was still working.

Note: Dex was mostly never working before when connected to my laptop after my laptop resumed from sleep state, I always have to restart my computer to make it work.

It was always an annoying workaround but I learnt to accept this annoyance.

But now, dex is definitely dead.

Am I alone in this situation since this update?

My laptop is a lenovo X1 from 2018 and has windows 10.

I have the same problem using my Samsung S10e. Before the upgrade, DEX was working fine.

I think it may have to do with my lenovo laptop.

I restarted 2 times, DEX would not work. But after I completely turned off windows (I also unplugged the USB cable), DEX would work again.

It seems that the USB port needed a power-off state.

And I just realized that I have a Note 9, not a Note 10.

After I installed this update, when I open an app it goes full screen and there is now no way to shrink it from full screen. The control buttons in the upper right of the app window have disappeared. 

I use DEX on pc all the time, there are many functional glitches, this one makes it pretty much worthless. 

If I use the Back and Home keys in bottom left I can get back to the DEX desktop. Apps are either full screen or shrunk to the taskbar. No floating windowed apps.
