People are loose with it these days but it really really is important on an Android to take care of your permissions for your apps especially these days they're so intrusive... That said think about it like this if you're not navigating or using GPS there's no need in even taking the chance of exposing your location if you're not using the card scanner which 90% of Androids these days can still scan at the register with NFC turned off there's no need for it to be on as far as sink goes you're just fine that's the matter of preferences everything you do is immediately recorded in your accounts me personally I don't leave mine on but that's just a personal preference.. they will still update on their own one way or the other but not trying to fear monger you just saying everybody has it backwards these days leaving their location wide open with Bluetooth on and NFC on it's not good practice for cyber security at all like I don't care what anyone says you can go to any website go to nordvpn they've got an awesome cyber security blog all the info you could ever ask for.. I learned the hard way years ago but educated myself in Linux and Android ecosystem with a little bit of cyber security no expert by no means but I know a little bit 😊😊

Yo I'm certified in Linux I'm on a couple developer platforms and certified in some cybersecurity and no you do not want to leave it on all the time I don't care what anybody says if you look up basic cyber security on any website about location they will agree with me. That's something that Google and everyone started to make it more convenient for their apps and not worrying about people's safety..... Those same apps and services will still sync and still work without your primary location being out in the wide open....

I mean Grant permission for location for apps that have to have it you also have the option of doing precise or approximate location too precise is like almost pinpoint approximate is a pretty good radius so that's something to keep in mind also but remember you can still give the permissions to those apps that try to make you do it without having it just switched on and as far as switching it on different reasons anything from trying to get Google's to learn your Wi-Fi so you don't get locked out of your account all the time LOL or navigation mainly mainly navigation but your emergency alerts are through your phone provider you can totally still get those experiment with it play around you'll find that there's a lot of things you can turn off basically you want to minimize as much as possible and still get all the riches and spoils from it you know what I mean!!

NFC an Bluetooth always if not in use.. any Cybersecurity or VPN always.. that never became a thing until they started making their apps so permission intrusive
