The Recent folder / Recent Album currently shows ALL pictures from EVERY Album. This is contradictory to the meaning of "recent" and defeats the purpose of the Recent Album.
There should be user options to -
Only display most recent from the:
last day
last week
last month etc...
There could also be another Album called "All Photos" for those that want to view everything combined in one place.
PS: I know the Recent Album / Recent Folder can be hidden. That is not what I am asking about.
The "recents" album is not a real album. It is a mirror album. What it considers recent is any photo not only recently taken, but recently accessed or edited. So, if you accessed a photo from 3 years ago to show to your long lost high school buddy, or add a tag, or edit the location, or crop it, it will appear in the recents album. If you recently transferred pictures or restored a backup to your phone, they are considered recent. You can hide the recents album if it bothers you. It is only meant for you to easily find recently added/accessed photos.
