Hello,

so sometimes I try to unlock my phone using fingerprint when display is off, I try 10 times, nothing happens, then I turn on my phone and see that password is required. I am wondering if there is a way to disable this security thing, because it is very annoying.

All mine does it too. Like we should we able to disable that and confirm we know the risks. My phone is always with me in eyesight or my hand so I don't need that. If I can't find it I disable it remotely
Also if you have the fingerprint set up it isn't exactly easy to get in without the pin. I also have the Google lock too so if they reset ut

All devices do this for security measures from android to iPhone. When setting up your device for the 1st time you are prompted to input a backup code of your choice from pin, pattern or password as an alternative from facial or finger recognition

I had this same problem today. I just learned that the password i created for my work profile is the password i had to enter ( if different from Samsung account password)  after that 72 hour biometric  period.

Now I'm going back in to reset my work profile to match up everything. Hope this helps if it applies.

you said that your password is the password you used for your work profile? but when I got the phone I only created a pin not password and I only put in for my fingerprint nothing else, so I am not understanding what password this phone is asking for

I am having the same problem.  My phone has been locked for the past 2 days and I've been trying to find a way to unlock it.
