On the Galaxy Tab A7 lite, there are built-in apps like Calendar & Conttacts that I want to DISABLE. I use this tablet for work, and I use the Google Calendar and Contacts apps because they interface with our Google services for work. Therefore I don't want these other identically-named apps to show up, and even more so I ***DON'T*** want them running in the background. Seems the most I can do is occasionally check in Settings and force-stop the app. But if I reboot the tablet, they start right back up again!
If I am not using these apps, there should be NO reason for them to start running, ever. So *****WHY***** is the "Disable" button greyed out? It isn't Samsung's place to tell me what apps will and won't be running on MY device. It's obvious you won't allow me to uninstall them (which would be the better option), so forcing then to NEVER start would be the next best choice.
