Galaxy Watch

I've had my Galaxy Watch for a couple of weeks and have noticed the following:

  • Really bad battery life even though I've got the bare minimum running
  • It overheats when I'm wearing it (not exercising)
  • The above makes it go into emergency call mode

These are all really frustrating issues. Is it possible I have a fault watch and if so, I'll return to where I bought it or are these common issues I'll have to live with?

Thanks

I  understand how upsetting this is. Have you tried performing a reset on the watch? https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00084702/ Also check to see if the software is up to date. If the watch is still overheating and draining the battery, then it would be recommended to have the watch evaluated by a certified technician. You could also contact your place of purchase to see what options they may have available. If you wish to set your device up for service, please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.

Galaxy Watch

My husband and I both got the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 classic 46mm with LTE and BOTH watches have poor battery life (less than 24 hours) and we hardly have anything running. We close everything after we are done use it and the watch still dies within a day. Also we have BOTH been having issues with it overheating and going into emergency mode. I'm in a house or office with AC every time it "overheats" and it doesn't feel hot at all and most of the time I am nit even doing anything on it when it overheats. Any one have suggestions on how to fix both or either problem?
