*UPDATE*
I've got the gallery to work on my Samsung tv.. Turns out there was an account mix up having ondrive signed up with one, tv on another, and phone on whole diffent one 🙈

Try clearing your gallery app's cache/data: open device settings (cogwheel icon)>apps>gallery>storage>clear cache/data>followed by a soft reset (power phone off, wait a few seconds, power phone back on).

Try creating a separate folder and upload your files there to see if the problem persists.
