I've been wanting to change my status bar icons since I got this phone. They're not that bad, but I was hoping to be able to switch to something simpler, something that looked a bit more like stock Android's icons, which I prefer. And when I first discovered QuickStar, I thought it would have this feature.

My desire to change the battery icon has especially increased since the One UI 7 update. I want to go back to an actual battery shape, instead of this strange pill. Just personal preference though.

A few sets in various different styles would be great, but ideally, I'd want to have an advanced mode where you can set each icon individually. Maybe even the ability to add colors, outlines, or shadows.

I'm sure about now everyone would like nothing better than to be able to change and add icons to the status bar. One thing I am sure of is that the status bar should be ours to do what we want with and to clutter up with as many icons as we want (space allowing), not what Samsung decides we should have.

My Pixel just did the same thing Samsung did, battery pill, only 3 notification in the status bar with a dot to let you know there is more.

This all has to do with Google adding live notifications in the status bar in Android 16 coming later to the Pixel this summer. Same with the lockscreen 3 notifications and dot, on the top, or cards.
What is great about having both, I can say it's Google's fault.

So, everyone is getting heated at Samsung for changes Google made or mandated.  It was actually probably a bad idea to combine the updates.  Should have released the Android update first and let people get mad about that and then release the OneUI update.  At least people would be angry at the right entity.

To be honest, though, I don't mind the three notification icons, that's all I keep up there anyway.  If I know I have one notification, I can see that there are more when I pull down to see it.

That what Google did, the first 4 Beta updates weren't anything special, stacked notifications with a number was the biggest thing. Yesterday was the biggest drop, everything change in Material 3. Their status bar is a little chunkier. This got smaller to give you more room on your screen.

There is no Good Lock to fix things on my Pixel.

So, now you can be the harbinger of all that Google did and what is strictly Samsung - or maybe Samsung working within Google's mandates. I have a feeling GoodLock is going to get a lot more useful in the coming months.

I meant not just the current adjustments that can be made. I'm sure the GoodLock team is taking notes and making improvements.

I have sent them feedback in the members app many times.

I want the ability to turn it off completely. I don't want to see all that junk when I'm on a video call that's supposed to be full screen.
