Help!

I am unable to use the Handwriting feature (similar to Live Drawing) in Samsung Messages on my Samsung Galaxy S21.

I tried many different things with Customer Support and Tech Support until I was told that the feature is not compatible with the S21.

I can draw in Samsung Notes and characters on the keyboard when I set my language to something with characters, I just can't draw GIFs in Messages.

 Has anyone found a workaround?

Edit: Still having the issue. Does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried the Live Messages edge panel?

I don't have that option in my Edge Panel settings.

Try this:

  1. Open the edge panel
  2. Click the gear icon
  3. Swipe through the edge panel options until you find "Live messages"
  4. Enable "Live messages"

Sorry, it looks like I posted my reply to the wrong spot.

I don't have that panel as an option to enable in my settings, but I have all the others.

The Handwriting feature is also not an option when I tap the + (plus icon) in Samsung Messages, but I have everything else that's supposed to show up.

I understand. I don't have the option of that panel to enable. I have all of them except that one.
