Health Connect not syncing with Samsung Health

Health Connect has not been syncing with Samsung Health for several weeks. Specifically, it won't sync steps (it reads some steps but the number is inaccurate), activities, or active calories burned. Samsung Health reflects all the correct data. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both apps, I have disabled and reenabled permissions a bunch of times, I've cleared the cache, I have restarted my phone several times and nothing seems to work. I reached out to Health Connect but the website on the play store doesn't seem to be used and they direct you to submit a ticket to report the issue but I haven't heard back from anyone (that was about a week ago). All of the applicable settings are in order; there should be no reason at all for this to be happening. Any ideas on how to resolve this??
